Garden Tour & Tea

Gardens aren't just for summer.

Join us on Saturday, November 19 from 1 to 3pm for the Seashore Community Garden Tour & Tea.

- Fun, free and open to all ages.

- Enjoy a variety of teas and tasty tidbits prepared from the garden bounty.

- Learn winter gardening and soil-building techniques.

- Meet the gardeners, both young and not-so-young, who have labored to make the garden a success.

This event will be held rain or shine, indoors or out!

The Seashore Community Garden is an inclusive effort involving children, families, designers, artists, gardeners and composters. The hands-on teaching and demonstration site provides fresh, healthy produce for participants, and is used to prepare Seashore's community breakfasts, dinners, and summer program meals.

The Seashore Community Garden is located at the Waldport Community Learning Center, located on Hwy 34, just east of City Hall.
